Houthi Militants Storm UN Aid Offices in Sanaa, Abduct Employees
Accra: Houthi militants have stormed the offices of two UN aid organizations in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, and abducted several of their employees, dpa learned from UN staff sources in Yemen on Sunday. According to Ghana News Agency, the offices of the World Food Programme (WFP) and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) were raided, and around 10 employees were taken to an unknown location.
