Kpone: Mrs. Linda Obenewaa Akweley Ocloo, the Greater Accra Regional Minister, has issued a directive to a developer and other persons encroaching on the Kpone Laaloi Lagoon to restore the encroached site to its natural status. The minister gave the directive when she, and other officials, visited Akampoo in Kpone following a viral video showing the filling of a water body with trips of laterite and other materials by some developers. Two Arrested Over Pump Action Guns, Cartridges

Akwatia: The Police at Akwatia have arrested Joseph Peterson for possessing an Adler Tulpar Pump Action gun and 46 AAA and BB cartridges in a pack. A police source said Peterson was nabbed during a snap check by the Police Patrol Team at Boadua Livingstone Junction in the Eastern Region. New Suspect Arraigned in Immigration Officer Murder Case

Accra: One more suspect has been arraigned in connection with the murder of Stephen King Amoah, the Immigration Officer whose charred body was found near Kwabenya in July. Thomas Zigah, also known as Nii Dzaase, appeared before the Kaneshie District Court alongside Bright Aweh, alias Highest Bright, the first accused.
