Ashanti region: Osei Kwame, also known as ‘Nsafufuo,’ has been arrested by the Manso-Nkwanta District Police in the Ashanti Region for unlawfully possessing a police uniform. According to Ghana News Agency, Kwame was apprehended at Antoakrom after a viral video surfaced showing him appearing intoxicated while dressed in police attire. The statement highlighted that “the suspect was seen in a viral video appearing to be intoxicated in police uniform.” Kwame is currently assisting police with investigations to further understand the circumstances surrounding the possession of the uniform and any potential implications of his actions. Accra: Patricia Asiedua, also known as Nana Agradaa, founder of Heaven Way Champions International Ministry, has been sentenced to 15 years’ imprisonment on charges of fraud and engaging in charlatanic advertisements. This was after the court, presided over by Mrs. Evelyn Asamoah, found her guilty on three charges: engaging in charlatanic advertisements, and two counts of defrauding by false pretenses. According to Ghana News Agency, the sentence was given after Agradaa was asked to undergo a pregnancy test.
