President Kais Saied stressed on Thursday during his visit to the National Pedagogical Centre in Montfleury, Tunis, "the need to provide all textbooks on time, in the required quantities and at prices that take into account the material situation of citizens".
Kais Saied reiterated his emphasis on the right to education and the state's responsibility to guarantee the right to education. He stressed that "the state will not abandon public facilities such as education, health, transport and others because they are human rights, in addition to their enshrinement in the Constitution of 25 July 2022, and all state agencies should work to achieve them.
During this visit, the President of the Republic was briefed on the latest preparations for the return to school this year, according to a statement issued by the Presidency of the Republic.
