Seventeen people were injured on Friday afternoon on the road between Oued Ellil and Tebourba, Manouba governorate, after a collision between a TRANSTU bus (line 42 Tunis-Tebourba) and a truck trying to enter one of the local factories.
There were no serious injuries, TRANSTU said.
The bus was carrying 15 passengers, the driver and the conductor. The injured were taken to the Charles Nicolle, La Rabta and Wassila Bourguiba hospitals by civil protection, the company said, adding that the relevant departments were monitoring the situation of the injured in the various hospitals.
TRANSTU also reported material damage to the bus and said an investigation had been initiated to establish the circumstances of the accident and identify those responsible.
