Examination Malpractice Warning for BECE Candidates by Berekum East Official

Berekum: Mr. Isaac Kwadwo Kuma, the Berekum East Municipal Examination Coordinator, has issued a warning to candidates of this year's Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) against engaging in any examination malpractices. He emphasized that such actions could lead to the cancellation of their results and disrupt their educational journey, potentially affecting their future careers.

According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Kuma, in an interview, further warned teachers against assisting candidates with examination questions. He indicated that any teachers found guilty of such practices would face sanctions. Mr. Kuma expressed his concern over the increasing incidents of examination malpractices in the Bono Region and called on teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to collaborate in addressing this issue to enhance students' academic performance.

Mr. Kuma reassured the candidates that the BECE would test knowledge they have already been taught in school and encouraged them to approach the exams with confidence. He also reminded candidates that bringing unauthorized materials into the examination halls is prohibited.
