President Mahama Suspends Activities Following Helicopter Crash; Declares Three Days of National Mourning
Accra: President John Dramani Mahama has suspended all his scheduled activities and engagements for the remainder of the week following Wednesday’s national tragedy in which eight lives were lost in a military helicopter crash. According to Ghana News Agency, a statement by Mr Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Minister in charge of Government Communications and Presidential Spokesman, said the step reflected the Government’s immediate response to honour the victims.
