IHF Men’s Beach Handball World Championships (Placement round): Tunisia – Porto Rico 2-0

Tunis: Tunisia's beach-handball team beat Puerto Rico 2-0 (22-16, 19-16) at an11th IHF Men's Beach Handball World Championships placement round game for the 9-16 spots, played on Saturday in China. Thanks to this victory, Tunisia will now play for the 9-12 spots alongside the teams of Qatar, China and Oman. The Tunisian team will take on their Qatari counterparts at a later date, while China will play Oman. The two winners will battle it out for the 9th spot and the losers for the 11th. Tunisia finished the Main Round 5th in Group I with 2 points after a win over Oman (2-0) and two defeats to Denmark and Hungary (2-0). Source: Agence Tunis Afrique Presse
