Stock market closes Tuesday’s session with slight dip

The stock market recorded a slight decline (-0.04%) during Tuesday's session, closing at 8896.1 points. Trading activity remained low, with no block trades, resulting in a turnover of 3.2 million dinars, according to the daily analysis of broker Tunisie Valeurs. Tawasol Group Holding was the most notable performer of the session. The shares of the holding company, which is part of the CHABCHOUB group, rose by 6% to TND 0.530, with a total volume of TND 15,000. It is worth noting that the Tawasol Group has yet to publish its consolidated financial statements for the 2021 and 2022 financial years, well ahead of regulatory deadlines. After losing ground in the previous session, Carthage Cement regained momentum. Shares in the public cement company rose by 2.7% to TND 2.260. CC was one of the most active stocks of the session, generating trades worth TND 258,000. Ennakl Automobiles suffered the biggest fall of the session. The car dealer's shares fell by 4.6% to TND 10.950 on a meagre flow of one thousand dinars. As a result, the company widened its annual losses in the market to -12.7%. Due to profit-taking, the SOPAT share fell by 2% to TND 1.950 on a trading volume of TND 95,000. It is important to remember that the poultry company, which owns the MLIHA brand, had an impressive market performance last week, rising 5.4%. Délice Holding was the leader in terms of trading volume. Shares in the national dairy champion fell marginally by 0.8% to TND 13.000, injecting TND 712,000 of capital into the market. The holding company's interim accounts for the period ended June 30 showed a net profit of TND 31.3, compared with TND 18.2 million a year earlier.
