Algeria's beach handball team defeated Kenya's 2-0 (22-12, 18-10) at an African Beach Games (JAP) Group B day-2 game, played Sunday. Algeria had conceded defeat to Tunisia (0-2). As such, Algeria and Tunisia qualified for the semi-final. Group B includes Tunisia, Algeria and Kenya. Morocco, Zambia, Mali and Libya play in Group A.
