Interior Minister Kamel Fekih on Friday inaugurated the joint training centre for integrated border management in Nafta delegation (Tozeur governorate), the first part of which is now operational. This centre, which was set up as part of joint cooperation between Tunisia, Austria and Denmark under the auspices of the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD), will serve as a starting point for all security forces, including the police, national guard, civil protection and customs, he told the media. "We are really keen to convert it into a regional centre offering training for all sections operating in the migration field in Libya, Algeria, Egypt and all the countries in the region," he pointed out. Achieved in record time, the centre comprises two sections. The first part includes rooms, a hall and internal and external facilities, while the 2nd part includes foyers, a restaurant, rooms and sports pitches. Source: Agence Tunis Afrique Presse
