Fog banks are expected over the north, central-eastern regions and the south on Thursday evening and Friday, the National Meteorological Institute (INM) said. The fog will be locally thick, especially over coastal areas, valleys and near dams and forests, reducing horizontal visibility to less than 300 metres.
