Accra: Mr. Julius Debrah, the Chief of Staff at the Presidency, has directed that all flags on government buildings be restored to full mast, following the funeral of the eight victims of the August 6, 2025, helicopter crash. According to Ghana News Agency, a statement issued by Mr. Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the Presidential Spokesman and Minister of State in-Charge of Government Communications, confirmed that following the conclusion of the state funeral and the burial of all eight victims, the Chief of Staff has instructed that flags at all public buildings be restored to full mast with immediate effect. The statement emphasized the nation's collective grief and the respect shown to those who lost their lives. "We make this decision mindful of our collective grief and the honour we have paid to those we have lost," the statement said. In conclusion, the statement offered a solemn tribute, "May the souls of the departed rest in eternal peace."
