Accra: The leadership of the Ghana Buffer Stock Company (BSC) has been urged to maintain adequate food reserves to stabilize prices during bumper harvests and mitigate shortages during emergencies. The call was made by Mr. Eric Opoku, Minister of Food and Agriculture, during the swearing-in ceremony of a nine-member board of the company in Accra. Accra: The Seventh-day Adventist Church has laid a foundation stone for the first-ever Seventh-day Adventist police church in the country at the National Police Training School in Tesano, Accra. According to Ghana News Agency, the church building will feature a base with offices, washrooms, and sitting areas, a first floor serving as the main church auditorium, and a gallery. The total cost of the project is estimated at GHS 4.5 million, with an expected completion timeline of 18 months. The church auditorium will have a seating capacity of 900, while the gallery will accommodate 400, making it a 1300-capacity building.
