Keta NADMO Appeals for Urgent Support to Safeguard Flood-Stricken Pupils in Lawoshime
Keta: The Keta Municipal Secretariat of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) has launched an urgent appeal for public support following severe flooding that has disrupted education in several communities within the Lawoshime enclave of the Keta Municipality in the Volta Region. According to Ghana News Agency, the Municipal NADMO Director, which was made available to GNA, the flooding has particularly endangered schoolchildren and teachers in the communities of Mamimi, Hagodzi, Sonugbe, and Hatorgodo, making the continuation of academic activities extremely unsafe and difficult.
