Accra: Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) have been trained to advocate effectively to ensure the ratification of the African Union Free Movement Protocol (AUFMP) by 2027. The AUFMP, adopted in 2018, aims to promote continental integration, labour mobility, and socio-economic development by facilitating the free movement of persons within Africa. Accra: Two children have died in the central Mediterranean, after an overcrowded boat carrying 99 migrants capsized. One person is missing, the EU border protection agency Frontex said on Wednesday, adding that a further 96 people were said to have been rescued. The accident occurred on Tuesday in international waters between Libya and Tunisia.
