Lisbon: At least three people have died in the derailment of a funicular railway in Lisbon, according to media reports. Accra: A businessman accused of defrauding a woman of GHC500,000 in a gold transaction has appeared before an Accra Circuit Court. Charles Yao Anyomi is alleged to have collected the money under the pretext of securing the complainant 5kg of gold but did not deliver. Charged with defrauding by false pretences, Anyomi pleaded not guilty. New york: Fast-fashion giant Shein has initiated an investigation following the discovery of an image on its website that appeared to depict alleged murderer Luigi Mangione modeling a shirt. According to Ghana News Agency, the image showed a likeness to Mangione, accused of murdering UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson outside a Manhattan hotel last year, wearing a white, patterned short-sleeved shirt priced at just under $10. The controversial picture has since been removed from the site.
