Minority in Parliament Seeks Suspension of Chief Justice Nominee’s Vetting Over Pending Cases
Accra: The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Minority Caucus in Parliament has filed a motion calling for the suspension of all proceedings on the nomination of Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie as Chief Justice. The motion issued to the Ghana News Agency on Wednesday by the Caucus, demanded that all pending legal cases concerning the removal of Chief Justice Gertrupde Araba Esaaba Sackey Torkornoo be resolved.
