2025 GJA Awards: Dwumfuor Extends Invitation to President Mahama as Guest Speaker

Accra: Mr Albert Kwabena Dwumfuor, the President of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA), has extended an invitation to President John Dramani Mahama to be the special guest of honour at the Association’s 2025 Awards Ceremony to be held in Kumasi. Mr Dwumfuor extended the invitation during a visit by the GJA Executives to the President in Accra. Mahama Re-launches National Sanitation Day to Boost Cleanliness Efforts Across Ghana

Accra: President John Dramani Mahama has re-launched the National Sanitation Day, a nationwide initiative aimed at promoting cleanliness across the 261 Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) in Ghana. The event, to be observed on the first Saturday of every month starting from October, is part of the government’s ongoing efforts to maintain a clean environment.
