Accra: President John Dramani Mahama on Wednesday announced the final batch of four Deputy Ministerial Nominees. A statement issued by Mr. Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the Presidential Spokesman and Minister of State in-charge of Government Communications, and copied to the Ghana News Agency, detailed the nominees. According to Ghana News Agency, the nominees include Mr. James G. Quayson for Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Madam Dorcas Toffey for Deputy Minister of Transport, Mr. Mohammed Adam Sukparu for Deputy Minister of Communication, Digital, Technology and Innovations, and Madam Grace Ayensu-Danquah for Deputy Minister of Health. The statement highlighted that the President, in accordance with Articles 78(1) and 79(1) of the Constitution, has submitted the names of the nominees to Parliament. This submission was done through the Speaker and is awaiting prior approval for the nominees to officially take up their roles as Deputy Ministers.
