Nkonsia: A downpour has caused havoc at Nkonsia, a farming community in the Wenchi Municipality of the Bono Region, displacing about 600 residents in the community. According to Ghana News Agency, the rains, which accompanied incessant storms and lightning, hit the community Tuesday evening, October 21, 2025. The severe weather badly affected about 86 houses, ripped up classroom blocks, and uprooted some trees in the locality.
