Former Information Minister and Zongo Women Leaders Launch NGO to Empower Young Women
Accra: Madam Fatimatu Abubakar, the former Minister of Information, along with other accomplished Zongo women, have established a not-for-profit NGO aimed at enhancing the capabilities of young Zongo women to expand their businesses. She highlighted that approximately 70 percent of small and medium-sized enterprises in Ghana are owned by women. Enhancing their entrepreneurial and leadership skills, especially those from the five northern regions, could significantly boost their economic potential.
