NAIMOS Task Force Targets Illegal Mining Along Bonsa River
Tarkwa nsuaem: The National Anti-Illegal Mining Operations Secretariat (NAIMOS) Task Force has intensified its efforts to combat illegal mining activities, commonly known as galamsey, along the Bonsa River in the Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipality of the Western Region. The recent operation was a collaborative effort involving the Western Regional Security Council and the Blue Water Guards, aimed at eliminating illegal mining practices that threaten the region’s forests and water bodies.
