Court Discharges Two in Alleged Land Fraud Case Involving Lawyer

Accra: The Circuit Court in Accra has discharged Alberta Abi Amartey and Emmanuel Anang Yemoh in a case involving their alleged role in defrauding a lawyer, Mr. Solomon Aubin, of GHS190,000.00 over land sales. This decision followed the striking out of the matter for want of prosecution. According to Ghana News Agency, Presiding Judge Kwabena Kodua Obiri-Yeboah delivered the ruling after observing that the prosecution had failed to file the necessary processes despite earlier warnings.
