Accra: Thirty-six newly qualified medical doctors from Family Health University (FHU) have been officially inducted into the medical profession by the Medical and Dental Council (MDC) of Ghana. Adidome: The Wellness Bridge Initiative (WBI), a non-profit organisation dedicated to improving healthcare access and promoting preventive health services in Ghana, has commissioned a Health Kiosk in Adidome, Central Tongu District. The facility, part of a community-based preventive health project, will provide free blood pressure and blood sugar testing to help reduce stroke, diabetes, and heart disease through early detection and referrals. Gyankobaa: The chiefs and people of Gyankobaa in the Atwima Nwabiagya South Municipality have appealed to the government to compensate farmers whose lands were acquired for development projects in the community. According to Ghana News Agency, Obofuor Atwima-Kwaah Boakye Darkwa II, Gyankobaahene and Otumfuo Kwansentuohene, made the appeal on behalf of the people. Takoradi: The Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA) has introduced journalists to a media guide focused on enhancing reporting skills on Illicit Financial Flows (IFFs), progressive taxation, reserved-based lending, and domestic resource mobilisation.
