Ada: As this year’s Asafotufiami Festival gathers momentum, young people within Ada have been urged to exercise caution and avoid behaviours that could expose them to HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections. Court Dismisses Ofori-Atta’s Bid to Quash Arrest Warrant

Accra: An Accra High Court has dismissed an application by Mr Kenneth Ofori-Atta, a former Finance Minister, seeking to strike out a warrant issued for his arrest by the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP). According to Ghana News Agency, lawyers for Mr Ofori-Atta argued that the OSP unlawfully obtained the warrant. They asked the court to set aside all related proceedings, including an Interpol Red Notice alert. However, the court ruled on Thursday that the application lacked merit and dismissed it in its entirety.
