Asafotufiami Festival: Youth Cautioned Against Risky Sexual Behaviour
Ada: As this year’s Asafotufiami Festival gathers momentum, young people within Ada have been urged to exercise caution and avoid behaviours that could expose them to HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections. According to Ghana News Agency, Naana Kakie, the Chief Executive Officer of the Naana Kakie Foundation and an HIV/AIDS prevention advocate, issued the caution in an interview ahead of the celebration. She warned that the festive atmosphere, often marked by reunions, alcohol and drug consumption, and heightened emotions, could lead to poor decision-making and risky sexual behaviours, including indulging in unprotected sex, which remains among the leading causes
