Bawku: The Christian Council of Ghana has urged rival factions in the Bawku conflict to embrace dialogue, uphold the sanctity of human life, as they resolve their differences peacefully. According to Ghana News Agency, in a press statement copied to the agency and signed by Reverend Dr. Cyril Fayose, General Secretary of the Council, the Council noted its particular concern regarding the devastating impact of the conflict on churches and mission establishments in Bawku. Skytrain Trial: State to Present First Prosecution Witnesses on Oct 13

Accra: The State will on October 13, 2025, present its first prosecution witnesses in the SkyTrain trial. The trial involves Mr. Solomon Asamoah, former CEO of the Ghana Infrastructure Investment Fund (GIIF), and Professor Christopher Ameyaw-Akumfi, former Board Chairman. The witness, Mr. Yaw Dame Darkwa, is a former GIIF Board Member.
