COCOBOD Engages Bodi District Farmers on 2025/26 Cocoa Season Producer Price

Accra: The Cocoa Health and Extension Division of the Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD) has engaged cocoa farmers in the Bodi District of the Western North Region to educate them on the producer price for the 2025/2026 cocoa season. Hundreds Screened by Ghana Medical Relief in Berekum

Berekum: Hundreds of residents in the Berekum Municipality are benefitting from a comprehensive health screening exercise aimed at improving their overall well-being. According to Ghana News Agency, the initiative, spearheaded by Ghana Medical Relief (GMR), is part of a five-day medical outreach programme running from Monday, July 21 to Friday, July 25 at the Berekum Holy Family Hospital. The screenings cover a wide range of conditions including ear, nose and throat (ENT), hypertension, diabetes, psychiatric disorders, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, ophthalmology, and dentistry. Marigold Foundation Screens Over 800 Residents at Swedru Dwenho

Agona swedru: More than 800 residents, both young and old, in Agona Swedru Dwenho have benefitted from a free health screening organised by the Marigold Foundation to help them assess their health status. Greater Accra, Ashanti, Eastern Regions Lead HIV Cases Nationwide

Accra: The 2024 National HIV and Subnational Estimates reveal that Greater Accra, Ashanti, and Eastern Regions have recorded the highest number of HIV infections and population. Data from the Ghana Aids Commission (GAC) shows that 77,821 persons living with HIV reside in Greater Accra, 63,159 in Ashanti, and 44,792 in the Eastern Region.
