Savelugu: A total of 300 women smallholder farmers, including persons with disabilities in the Northern Region, have received certified seeds to promote sustainable crop production. The support package, which included maize seeds, targeted farmers in two districts, Savelugu and Tolon, to enhance agricultural productivity and resilience. According to Ghana News Agency, beneficiaries were drawn from 10 communities across the districts, including Savelugu, Gbanjong, Kamonaayili, Tolon, Galinkpegu, Libga, Zaazi, Bihinaayili, Nyoglo, and Gbulahgu. Abuakwa: The Abuakwa Divisional Police Command has apprehended a 31-year-old man accused of stealing prepaid meters from customers. The suspect was initially captured by residents of Abuakwa Agogo Newsite and subsequently handed over to the police for further investigation.
