China and Ghana Mark 65 Years of Diplomatic Relations
Accra: Today, July 5, marks the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Ghana. Ghana was among the first African countries to establish diplomatic ties with China, and the traditional friendship between the two nations was forged by the older generation of leaders, including Chairman Mao Zedong, Premier Zhou Enlai, and President Dr Kwame Nkrumah.
