Tunisia’s soccer League 1 – Championship phase – day 6: CS Sfaxien beat C. Africain 3-1 in Rades

Tunis: Club Sportif Sfaxien defeated Club Africain 3-1 in a Tunisia's soccer League 1 championship phase day-6 game played on Sunday evening at the Stade Hamadi Agrebi in Rades. Goals were scored by Baraket Hmidi (36'), Youssef Becha (48') and Alaa Ghram (91' pen.) for CS Sfaxien and Hamdi Laabidi (75' pen.) for Club Africain. With this win, the first for CSS in the championship phase, the black and whites finally moved off the bottom of the table to join ES Sahel in 4th place with 8 points. Club Africain, for their part, find themselves dead last on 7 points. Earlier in the day, Stade Tunisien won the little derby in the capital, inflicting their first defeat on leaders Esperance 2-0.
