Accra: Mr. Kofi Benteh Afful, the Member of Parliament for the Sefwi-Wiawso Constituency in the Western North Region, has pledged to repair the deteriorating Sefwi-Asawinso-Essakrom Road, aiming to facilitate better commuting for local residents. The MP addressed the road’s poor condition and committed to taking necessary actions to ensure its rehabilitation.
According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Afful made this promise during a visit to the Ebenezer Congregation of the Presbyterian Church, where he expressed gratitude to the constituents for electing him as their representative. During his visit, he revealed that there was also approval to upgrade the Asawinso Market into a 24-hour facility, with official work on the project set to commence soon.
Additionally, Mr. Afful assured that he would strive for equitable distribution of development across all communities within the district. He urged the church to continue supporting him with prayers as he lobbies for further developmental initiatives for the constituency. Mr. Dominic Gyasi, the Municipal Chief Executive of the area, affirmed that the Assembly remains committed to prioritizing development to enhance the living standards of residents.
