Accra: StyleByFef, a fashion retail brand under the XFAR Group, has donated assorted items and cash worth over GHS10,000 to the Osu Children’s Home as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative to support underprivileged children. The donation, which included food supplies, sanitary items, and GHS5,000 cash, was led by Mr Rex Agbo, Managing Director of XFAR Group, and Mrs Esthella Fakor Fiakegbe, Managing Partner of StyleByFef.
According to Ghana News Agency, Mr Agbo stated that the gesture was part of the company’s vision of ‘leadership and utility for posterity.’ He emphasized that true leadership involves creating value for society and future generations, and that the donation was a selfless act rather than a marketing strategy. He explained that publicising the gesture informs patrons that their purchases help make a social impact.
Mr Agbo highlighted that Ms Esinam, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility at XFAR Group, and her team are dedicated to identifying organisations that could benefit from the company’s outreach efforts. He noted the importance of giving back to society to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children.
Madam Priscilla Asare, Assistant Centre Manager of the Osu Children’s Home, received the items on behalf of the management. She expressed gratitude to StyleByFef for the donation and prayed for the company’s continued growth, noting that the support would improve the welfare of the children.
StyleByFef, which has been operating in Ghana for about five years after its inception in the United Kingdom, offers a range of clothing, footwear, and accessories. This initiative marks the brand’s first public CSR activity, although it has previously engaged in anonymous donations. Mr Agbo affirmed the company’s commitment to community support in line with its values of social responsibility and compassion.
