Sana’a: Houthi militants have detained at least 10 more employees of UN organizations since Sunday morning in the Yemeni capital Sana’a, a source close to those arrested told dpa on Monday. All those who were arrested are Yemenis who work for the World Food Organization (WFP), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), and the UN Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS). ICC Convicts Ex-Sudanese Militia Leader of War Crimes in Darfur

Accra: The International Criminal Court (ICC) on Monday, found a former Sudanese militia leader guilty of atrocities committed more than two decades ago in Darfur. UN Refugee Agency Faces Major Job Cuts Amid Funding Shortfall

Geneva: Due to a drastic drop in funding commitments, the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) has cut almost 5,000 employees worldwide this year.
