Makeshift Jubilee Market to Close After Five Years

Accra: The makeshift Jubilee Park Market, created five years ago to ensure social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic, will officially close on October 13, 2025. According to Ghana News Agency, the Effia-Kwesimintsim Municipal Security Council (MUSEC) announced that all transport terminals and operations currently sited at the Jubilee Park will also cease and be relocated to the Apremdo Central Market (Abenbebom) Lorry Station.
